    About

Free, well-structured notes and solved past papers for students in Nepal.

It started in 2020, when students had nowhere to turn.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Nepal’s school and high-school curriculum changed. Classes moved to Zoom, bookshops had few of the new books, and good study material that matched the new syllabus was hard to find online.

In late 2020, our founder Rohit Rauniyar started building Sajha Notes to fix that: one free place for clear, syllabus-based notes and practice questions. The site went live in early 2021, and most of the Chemistry notes were published in its first few months.

Students took to it quickly because the notes were easy to follow, well structured and came with practice questions. Soon teachers and faculty members were recommending Sajha Notes to their students, and some began teaching from it in class. In its first year, 69K+ students used the site; by 2022, that had tripled to 209K+.

In Nepali, sajha means shared. Good notes shouldn’t depend on which school you go to or what you can afford, so we share what we know, chapter by chapter, with every student in Nepal.

    How our notes are made

Every chapter goes through the same steps before, and after, it reaches you.

    1. Written by subject teachers

Each chapter is written by someone who teaches that subject, following the official syllabus.

    2. Checked for accuracy

Notes are reviewed for accuracy, clarity and exam relevance before they go live.

    3. Published free

Every note is free to read, with no sign-up and no paywall.

    4. Improved by your feedback

Report a mistake from any note and we correct it, so the notes keep getting better.
