These terms explain the rules for using sajhanotes.com (“Sajha Notes”, “we”, “us”). By using the website, you agree to them. We’ve written them in plain language so they’re easy to read. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the website.
In short: our notes are free for your own study. Please don’t copy them to other websites, apps or channels. Check important points with your textbook and teachers, and be kind in the comments.
1. About Sajha Notes
Sajha Notes is a free educational website for students in Nepal, mainly in Grades 9 to 12 (SEE and NEB). We publish notes, solved question papers and extra notes written by our team and by teachers and students who contribute. You can contact us at [email protected] or through our contact page.
2. Using the website
You can read Sajha Notes for free, without an account. Please use it for your own learning. You must not:
- try to break into, damage or overload the website, or get around its security;
- use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to copy our content;
- use the website for anything unlawful, or to harm other people.
3. Disclaimer: please check what you study
Sajha Notes is a study aid. It is not official material from the National Examinations Board (NEB), the Curriculum Development Centre (CDC) or any school.
We work hard to make our notes accurate and up to date, and we correct mistakes as soon as we know about them. Even so:
- notes can contain mistakes, and syllabuses and exam patterns change;
- our solutions to past papers are our own answers, not official marking schemes;
- we are not connected to NEB, CDC or any board or school, unless a page clearly says so;
- we can’t promise any particular exam result.
Always check important points with your prescribed textbook, the current syllabus and your teachers. If you spot a mistake, please use the Report a mistake link at the end of the note, or contact us. It helps every student who reads that note after you.
4. Our content and copyright
The notes, explanations, diagrams, solutions and design on Sajha Notes belong to Sajha Notes or to the people who contributed them, and are protected by copyright.
You may:
- read, download and print notes for your own study;
- share links to our pages with friends, classmates and on social media;
- as a teacher, show or print notes for your own students, free of charge, as long as you keep the Sajha Notes name and link on them.
You may not:
- copy our notes, or large parts of them, onto other websites, apps, social media pages or video channels;
- turn them into PDFs, books or courses to share or sell;
- remove the Sajha Notes name, or present our work as your own.
If you’d like to use our content in another way, please ask us first at [email protected].
5. Past question papers
Question papers belong to the National Examinations Board or the board or school that set them. We share them so students can practise. If you hold the rights to a paper and want it removed, please contact us and we’ll take it down.
6. Notes you contribute
If you send us notes through our Contribute page:
- you confirm the notes are your own work, or that you have permission to share them, and that they don’t copy other people’s books or websites;
- you keep ownership of your notes;
- you give Sajha Notes free, non-exclusive permission to publish them on Sajha Notes and our social media pages, and to edit them for accuracy, clarity and formatting. We always credit you, unless you ask us not to;
- we may decide not to publish a contribution;
- you can ask us to remove your published notes at any time, and we will. Copies that other people have already saved may remain.
Contributions are voluntary and unpaid, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
7. Comments
Comments are for questions and discussion about the notes. They are public: your name and comment are shown on the page (your email address is not). Please:
- be respectful to other students, teachers and contributors;
- stay on topic;
- don’t post spam, ads or links to unrelated websites;
- don’t share personal details, such as phone numbers or addresses, yours or anyone else’s;
- don’t post anything hateful, abusive, sexual or illegal.
We read comments before or after they appear, and we may edit or remove any comment that breaks these rules.
8. Ads and links to other websites
Sajha Notes is free because it shows ads, including ads from Google AdSense. We don’t choose or control each ad, so an ad is not a recommendation from us. Our pages may also link to other websites. We aren’t responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.
9. Changes to the website
We may add, change or remove notes and features at any time. We try to keep Sajha Notes available, but we can’t promise it will always be online or free of errors.
10. Limitation of liability
Sajha Notes is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using the website or relying on its content.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page changes. If you keep using Sajha Notes after a change, you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Nepal.
